Abstract

The project aims to finalise development of a novel system for the commercial development of hybrid wheat varieties. Base material is now being provided to Pioneer breeders for multiplication and the development of test hybrids. The new project will also commence development of germplasm to form the basis of a proposed longer term project for studying the genetics of resistance to Fusarium species in wheat.
