Abstract

This project seeks to map cDNAs which corresponds to conserved sequence ESTs identified in comparisons between rice and Arabidopsis. The mapping will be performed in a range of dicotyledonous species and this lab will focus on pea. The main outcome will be a set of linakge maps with common markers providing information on the extent of synteny between dicot species.
