Abstract
Within this project we will explore the basis on calcium signaling with the goal of contributing towards unraveling the mechanisms of en- and decoding. This involves the development of sophisticated nonlinear data analysis techniques complemented with forward modeling and hypothesis generation. This research is being carried out in collaboration with the group of Dr Giles Oldroyd. A further project involves modeling the transition to flowering in collaboration with Dr Phil Wigge.
