Abstract
The aim of this project is to understand the functions of cell wall polysaccharides in cell wall architecture and during plant growth and differentiation. It uses a combination of molecular biological, cell biological and genetic approaches to characterise these functions in two model systems, Arabidopsis and Zinnia, and a variety of crop plants.
