Abstract
The objectives of the proposed research contract are to: 1) Conduct a targeted laboratory based research programme which will advance our scientific understanding of airborne transmission of foot-and-mouth disease. 2) Develop an enhanced prediction and post analysis capability which will enable Defra to assess airborne disease spread for any given outbreak.
