Abstract
This grant provides for the reference laboratory facilities in respect of the following OIE Listed diseases of livestock: foot-and-mouth disease, African swine fever, Swine Vesicular Disease, Rinderpest/ Peste des Petits Ruminants, Bluetongue, African Horse Sickness, Lumpy Skin Disease and Sheep and Goat Pox. The funding covers `peace time scenarios¿ equivalent to alert level `A¿ in the FMD and BT contingency plans, but may be varied at any time by mutual agreement between the Department and the Contractor with a view to increasing the scope of the work covered.
