Abstract
Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) in the germinal centres of secondary lymphoid tissue are pivotal for affinity maturation of antibody responses and the maintenance of immunological memory. Monoclonal antibodies that delineate FDCs in the dark zone, basal light zone and or throughout the germinal centres in ruminants have been identified. Some of the patterns of FDC staining have not been described previously in any species.
