Abstract

1.- To analyse cattle immune responses induced by live attenuated S. typhimurium vaccines. 2.- To evaluate different S. typhimurium candidate vaccines as delivery vectors to elicit local and systemic immune responses to recombinant antigens in cattle. 3.- To study the effect of Salmonella infection on the expression of cytokines and cell surface molecules on different antigen presenting cells (APC) and how this affects their antigen presenting competence in vitro.
