Abstract
1. Purify the molecules responsible for activation of plasminogen from several strains of S. dysgalactiae. 2. Compare these with plasminogen activators produced by other streptococci using biochemical and immunological techniques 3. Clone, sequence and express the genes for the plasminogen activators from S. dysgalactiae 4. Using immunological, biochemical and molecular techniques determine regions of the molecules essential for biological activity 5. Present the above information as a written thesis
