Abstract
1.to evaluate whether pentosan polysulphate (PPS) has general efficacy in reducing susceptibility to TSE agents at doses, and by routes, that are clinically relevant and without deleterious effects. 2.to determine the tissue and cellular location of PPS and its metabolites . 3.to determine the in vivo effects of pentosan on PrP accumulation.
