Abstract
This project provides to the EC for the control of FMD Commission and teh FAO animal health service and inter alia the member states of the commission and the FAO with expert opinions on FMD vaccine suitability and information on trends in virus epidemiology; this will assist in improving FAO's early warning, risk assessment and early reaction capability, based on isolation, typing, molecular analysis and antigenic analysis of FMD virus isolatessubmitted by FAO members states or by FAO programmes.
