Abstract
The transitions of shoot meristems into and out of dormancy are of fundamental importance to agriculture, horticulture and forestry. This project aims to identify genes that are differentially expressed in dormant vs. active shoot meristems, to identify expression profiles specific to particular shoot meristem dormancy states and to provide markers for meristematic status.
