Abstract
The therapeutic potential of cell cloning is generating an enormous interest. However, cloning efficiency is still exceedingly low, and the basic mechanisms regulating the reprogramming of adult cell nuclei are not understood. We are investigating cellular reprogramming mechanisms using mouse models. The information we gather will participate in improving current cloning procedures, with ultimate benefits in stem cell and tissue therapy.
