Abstract
This funding is to help provide a centre for collaboration on the structural biology of cell signalling, including activation at the cell surface and signal transduction in the cytoplasm and related transcriptional events. Structures from animal, plant and microbial systems will be investigated with a view to comparative analysis. The centre makes use of expertise in X-ray crystallography, high field NMR, mass spectrometry, microcalorimetry and computing.
