Abstract

T cells are white blood cells which play a central role in fighting off disease. Sometimes T cells divide out of control resulting in leukaemia. This project will help to understand how T cells fight disease and what goes wrong when they become cancer cells. In particular the roles of kinases and phosphatases in early thymic differentiation will be investigated.
