Abstract
The project is a collaboration between the Babraham Institute, Cambridge University (Experimental Psychology) and the Taiwanese government. The work uses genetic and environmental models to determine the brain mechanisms that underlie impulsive behaviour. The extent to which we respond in impulsive or self controlled ways is a feature of normal personality and abnormal degrees of impulsivity play a key role in abnormal conditions such as AD/HD.
