Abstract

1) Investigate the role of calcium during neuronal differentiation and the responses to hypoxia. 2) Apply state-of-the-art imaging, to study the role of dynamic protein translocation in neuronal cell fate. 3) Investigate the cross-talk between signalling pathways regulated by calcium (in particular HIF and NF-kappaB). 4) Investigate the consequences of the dynamic regulation of transcription factors for differential gene transcription.
