Abstract
The purpose of this award is: 1) To co-ordinate the bioinformatics community to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and expertise through meetings, workshops and the use of the World Wide Web. 2) To develop software and facilitate its use by the bioinformatics community. 3) To represent UK bioinformatics interests and contribute to collaborative projects in Europe through EMBnet participation.
