Abstract
High Sensitivity Fast Atom Bombardment, Electrospray and Laster Desorption Mass Spectrometry will be used to define post-translational modifications of human glycodelins and Tamm-Horsfall Protein, ovine dystroglycan and meningococcal pilins. This important work will benefit from and be supported by the Group's recent acquisition of one of the world's most powerful new mass spectrometers, the Q-TOF, a novel instrument for ultra-high sensitivity tandem MS/MS biopolymer sequencing.
