Abstract
We wish to solve the structure of Region 1 activation peptide of Sigma-N from available crystals diffracting to 1.6 Angstroms. In conjunction we plan to obtain structures of its DNA ligand from available crystals diffracting to 2.6 Angstroms. Purified soluble domains of Sigma-N will be subject to further intensive screening for crystal growth in both DNA bound and unbound forms.
