Abstract
1) X-ray structure analysis of the complex between yeast proteinase A and the 32 residue functional domain of the naturally occurring inhibitor IA3. 2) X-ray analysis of the complex between the proteinase and full-length inhibitor. 3) X-ray structure analysis of complexes with 'mutant' forms of the inhibitor (IA3). 4) Improved understanding of specificity and catalytic mechanism by X-ray analysis of inhibitor and substrate complexes at low temperatures.
