Abstract

To contribute towards the establishment of a Macromolecular Crystallography Laboratory in the Leicester Biomolecular Sciences Centre. To support other core laboratories in the Centre which provide facilities in computing, transient kinetics and peptide chemistry. These laboratories will provide support for a number of research programmes across a wide range of biomolecular science, specifically on DNA topoisomerases, on proteins involved in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton and in intracellular signalling, and on proteins relevant to microbial pathogenicity.
