Abstract
The centre aims to provide the best possible matrix for world-class interdisciplinary research in structural biology and biological chemistry in the following fields: 1) Protein-nucleic acid, drug-nucleic acid interactions; chromatin and associated proteins. 2) Protein/protein and protein/membrane interactions. 3) Protein folding and design. 4) Biological catalysis and enzyme engineering. 5) Supramolecular and biomimetic chemistry. 6) Receptor/ligand interactions. 7) Developments in methodology for NMR and molecular modelling.
