Abstract
To correlate the known structures of the enzyme-substrate and the enzyme-product complexes for the EcoRV restriction endonuclease to its biological function, specific DNA cleavage at its recognition sequence, by using EPR and other spectroscopic methods, and also kinetic methods, to characterise the reaction intermediates.
