Abstract
To use a rapid scanning FTIR spectrometer to investigate the conformational distributions and exchange kinetics of enzyme-bound reaction intermediates. The enhanced sensitivity available will be exploited in studies of enzyme- ligand complexes by using isotope-edited difference spectroscopy and unfolding/dissociation studies. The new spectrometer will be offered as a National Facility for 20% of the time available.
