Abstract

1). To determine the 3D structure of photosystem II at 1.2nm resolution using cryo-electron microscopy; 2). To determine the location of all major photosystem II subunits within the complex by immunolabelling, selective subunit removal, and exploitation of readily available mutants; 3). To extend the resolution of the structural data beyond the limits of 1 nm. (Joint with grant 36/B02036).
